Rewarding versus Bribing - There are lots of people in the dog training world who don't like using food to reward the dog for good performance.  Many times you will hear them say "I don't think it's right to bribe my dog" in getting them to perform.   A key point about bribing is that a bribe is given before you get what you want.  A reward is given after you get what you want.
